Terms & Conditions
For Stall holders
All stalls must apply online. Once your stall application is accepted you will RESERVE your space and email you an invoice to pay. Once your invoice has been paid, your stall space is CONFIRMED. Stall spaces can only be reserved for 3 days, after which your space will be offered to the next application.
Secure your Booking
Once your invoice is paid, your booking is SECURE! Before committing to our market, please be aware of our CANCELLATION and REFUND policy below.
Cancellations affect everyone at the market, so please BOOK CAREFULLY and only cancel after much consideration. A 50% REFUND is only available if you cancel no later than ONE WEEK prior to the event.
Instead of a 50% refund, consider postponing your booking to the NEXT MONTH with 100% credit. This option is subject to approval, and can only be arranged if you postpone no later than ONE WEEK prior to the event.
Regular Monthly Stalls
Once you have had your first Rainbow Markets stall, we may offer you a regular monthly, or bi-monthly stall. This decision is based on how your stall went, and the feedback we receive from both yourself and customers.
Stalls serving takeaway food may need a food license from Brisbane City Council, in which case you will need to provide us with a copy before the market date. Read more here.
If your required food license is not ready for market day, then you can not setup unfortunately, and a refund will not be available. Please ensure you are well prepared before booking your stall.
Rainbow Markets go ahead rain, hail or shine. Well maybe not hail! If you suspect bad weather on market day, we recommend COMING ANYWAY, as more often than not we always have a great market day despite the weather. Our customer's need confidence that your stall will be there for them despite the weather.
In the case of DANGEROUS weather, we will notify you of a cancelled event ASAP by TEXT MESSAGE and email. If we cancel the event due to dangerous weather, you will be offered a full CREDIT for the next month's market.
Theft or Damage
All care is taken to prevent theft and damage to products at your stall, however we take no responsibility if items go missing – which is extremely rare. You are responsible for minding your stall at all times. We recommend getting to know your stall neighbours, and perhaps bringing a friend to keep you company on the day.
Parking & Setup
Bump IN 7:00AM (or earlier) | Bump OUT 2:00PM
We recommend starting setup of your stall at least one hour prior to the market opening time. Expect delays with traffic as other stalls will also be loading at the same time. Most stallholders prefer to drop-off their stall and stock at the venue, to then park their car nearby. We will have market staff to assist you unload where possible, but we fully recommend bringing a spare pair of hands to keep the traffic flowing.
There is FREE limited street parking around the area, which is closer and easier the earlier you arrive. There is also cheap paid parking within a block.
Packup & Cleanup
For the best market experience for everyone, you are required to keep your stall open until closing time. See your Market Manager if you have special requirements.
We need your help to keep the venue clean and tidy, so we can be invited back next time. Please ensure any rubbish from your stall -and your customers- is placed in provided bins, or taken with you.
While the venue has it’s own public liability insurance, you are responsible for all insurance relating to your stall and stock.
